It is placed at the dry heath (26 m.a.s.l.) north of Badesø, where the dominating vegetation consists of salix and empetrum, close to the Eddy Heath (Flux Monitoring) and SPA (Snow Properties) stations. The SoilProperties dataset from the station consists of soil temperatures (thermocouples, 107T), soil moisture (SM300) and soil heat fluxes (Hukseflux, HFP01) . All data is logged every 30 minutes (UTC-3 West Greenlandic Winter Time, CR1000). Data comments: In 2012 the station was moved 20 m closer to the stream because the vegetation was damaged underneath the sensors. Soil moisture: the SM300 sensor in 50 cm is measuring daily variations in the soil moisture and might be influenced by the stream. This variation is not seen in the upper sensors. Soil temperature: Since 2018 the temperature sensor in 50 cm depth showed a lot of noise, and data has not been delivered. The station is part of a network of similar energy balance stations.
